These axles also use a double-dip design that allows for approximately higher articulation angles. The axles are designed to slide over the bar splines, providing 1.5 inches of travel and 40 degrees of off-road rotation on the inboard joint. The outer hinge can move 0.5 inches and rotate 45-47 inches depending on the model. Demon heavy duty axles feature TPEE (thermoplastic polyester elastomer) boots that are stronger, stiffer, fatigue, puncture and temperature resistant than standard OEM boots.
